The review window is where you read what an agent changed, decide what to send back and get the task ready to finish.

Open it

Open Changes in Window (⇧⌘D), Review at the top of the main window, or Open Review on a task’s card. For a task across repositories, Review All Changes… shows every repository in one window. ⌘D shows the changes beside the terminal instead.

The review of a part lists all repositories of the task at the top, each with its number of files; one click switches to that repository’s changes, overview and checks. A part without a session of its own gets the full review too; your comments, findings and Return… go to the agent working on it, which is the task’s agent.

Read the change

The files stand as a tree on the left, the diff on the right, Side by Side or Unified, with syntax colours and changed words marked. A right-click on a file offers Open, Reveal in Finder and Copy Path.

Tick Viewed on a file to move on. If the agent changes the file again, Cavvy marks it as changed since you viewed it.

Overview

Overview tells you what the change touches before you read it:

  • Tests: what Done Means said about this state.
  • Worth a Look · fixed rules: changed code without tests, dependencies and lockfiles, permissions and credentials, migrations, deleted files, and the functions a file changes with where the repository uses them (Show where they are used). Fixed rules, no guessing.
  • Assessment · Apple Intelligence, on this Mac: Assess All Changes and Assess This Change give a risk, one sentence and what to check. Apple Intelligence can be wrong; the diff is what counts. Turn it off in Settings → Review.
  • By Kind: the files grouped by what they are.
  • Second Opinion: the reviewer’s findings, see Second Opinion.

Comment on lines

Click a line number to comment on it, shift-click for a range, and Add Comment (⌘↩). Comments collect at the bottom; Send to Agent types them into the session as one prompt, with file, lines and code. Discard All throws them away.

Hand the task back

Return… sends the task back to its agent with a note, for example “Split the migration into two steps”. The sheet Return to … takes the note; Return (⌘↩) sends it. The task goes back to Working.

Then

When you are happy, Finish… in the same window ends the task. See Finishing a task.
